The Shoes

Those shoes

ridiculous on everyone

Those shoes

Smell of thousands of feet

Those shoes

So perfectly slippery

Those shoes

Those multicolored shoes

Seemed so stupid

Those shoes

Seemed so gross to me

Until you said

These shoes

Make you part of something

These shoes

Are an instant community

These shoes

Have been worn by many

These shoes

Will be worn by many more

These shoes

Connect you with the world

These shoes

Connect you to me

These shoes

Make everybody ridiculous

These shoes

Make people laugh

These shoes

Draw people closer

Now, with these shoes,

Let’s bowl
