On Faithfulness

My path, neither narrow nor straight

Will find more ways to desecrate:

I constantly your name berate,

My life in bone is just more freight.

You must be tired of all this weight

And each sin only accentuates.

Here, nothing is up for debate.

I long to enter your estate,

To enter through those pearly gates;

But I am unfit in this state;

Yet my sins your life did negate

And you, the precious exchange rate

Forever for me, you will wait

I don’t deserve such faithfulness.
