On Mob Mentality

Allow me your forgiveness, I implore

I cheer among the crowds; await your death

Who reigns as God but Ceaser in this world?

A death that’s slow and painful you deserve

Crucify him! We spit and we cry out

Throwing insults at our falling Rabbi

Throbbing, crushing mob; jeering at his name

We ask him to save, then cry for his pain

I rhyme words, I sing songs, I cast my bets

Justice and victory for all to see

King of the Jews: So helpless is he now

Sky bathed in darkness

What have we finished?
